Hair loss and scalp therapy in Deerfield Beach, FL

01
Before your treatment
Clients book Sebum Control for an oily scalp: roots that turn greasy between washes and buildup that collects at the scalp.
It starts with your consultation, where Júnior looks at your scalp up close and you choose your scalp treatments together. You leave knowing which ones you will start with, so you know whether Sebum Control is part of your plan before you book it.

02
During the treatment
Your Sebum Control Scalp Treatment is built around a deep cleanse and a balancing mask.
The deep cleanse starts the session. It works through your scalp to lift excess sebum, the oil your scalp makes, along with the product buildup that collects around your roots.
The balancing mask goes on next, and it is made for a scalp that runs oily. Júnior has already looked at your scalp at your consultation, so he knows where the oil and buildup sit before he begins, and he does each step of the treatment himself.

03
After your treatment
Sebum Control is part of the written plan you take home from your consultation, which pairs sessions in the clinic with care you do at home between visits.
Júnior checks your progress each time you come in and changes the plan as your scalp responds, so how often you come back for this treatment is set in your own plan.

Sebum Control Scalp Treatment questions
Will you look at my scalp before you start the treatment?
Yes. Every plan starts with the 60-minute Hair Loss Consultation, where Júnior checks your scalp with a micro-camera and you see it magnified on a screen. He explains what he sees in plain words, you choose your scalp treatments together, and you leave knowing whether Sebum Control is among the ones you start with.
Is this the same as a dandruff treatment?
No, it is a separate treatment. Sebum Control is for an oily scalp with greasy roots and buildup, and it uses a deep cleanse and a balancing mask. Flakes and dandruff have their own option, Scalp Care for Flaky or Oily Scalp. Júnior helps you pick the right fit at your consultation after he looks at your scalp up close.
Is the Sebum Control Scalp Treatment a medical treatment?
No, hair and scalp therapy is care for your scalp, not medical treatment. Júnior is a Florida licensed cosmetologist and certified Hair Loss Practitioner. When he sees something during your visit that needs a doctor, he refers you to one, and you can keep your scalp care sessions alongside that.
Can I book Sebum Control sessions as a package?
Yes. Scalp therapy sessions can be booked one by one or as part of a package of 5, 7 or 10 sessions. At your consultation, Júnior can help you choose the package size that matches the number of sessions in your written plan.
