Hair loss and scalp therapy in Deerfield Beach, FL

01
Before your visit
Clients book this session when parts of the scalp feel dry, when tension builds up in the head and neck, or when they want scalp care that feels relaxing. It is one of the scalp therapies you can choose together with Júnior at your consultation, once he has looked at your scalp up close. You leave that first visit knowing which sessions you will start with, and whether this oil massage is one of them.

02
During your session
Júnior works an aromatic blend of essential oils into your scalp with a slow massage, and he keeps the pace unhurried from start to finish. You notice the scent of the oils from the first minutes, and the slow strokes give you time to settle in.
In a scalp oil massage like this one, the hair is usually parted in sections so the oil reaches the skin, and the fingertips work along each part before moving down toward the neck. Oil treatments of this kind are often left on for a while and then washed out at the end.

03
After your session
After your session, the next step comes from your written plan, which lists the sessions in our clinic and the care you do at home between visits. Júnior checks your scalp at every visit and changes the plan as your scalp responds, so how often you come back for this therapy is set with him, visit by visit.

Essential Oil Scalp Therapy questions
Is Essential Oil Scalp Therapy a medical treatment?
No, it is care for your scalp and not medical treatment, so it does not replace care from your doctor. Júnior Sousa is a Florida licensed cosmetologist and certified Hair Loss Practitioner. If he sees something at your visit that needs a doctor, he refers you to one, and your scalp sessions can continue alongside that.
Do I need a consultation before my first oil session?
Yes, your first visit is the Hair Loss Consultation, because every plan at JS Hair Therapy starts there. Júnior asks about your history and checks your scalp with a micro-camera before he recommends any sessions. You can reserve your consultation online whenever it suits you, and the clinic sees clients Monday to Friday.
What does the oil massage feel like?
It is a slow, relaxing massage. Júnior works the essential oil blend into your scalp at an easy pace, and the goal is to refresh your scalp and ease tension in your head and neck. You will notice the scent of the oils during the session, since the blend is aromatic.
