Hair loss and scalp therapy in Deerfield Beach, FL

01
Before your treatment
This treatment starts the way every plan at JS Hair Therapy does, with a 60-minute consultation. Júnior asks about your history, then shows your scalp magnified on a screen so you see what he sees, and he explains it in plain words. You and Júnior decide together whether this treatment belongs in your plan.
When he sees something during your visit that needs a doctor, he refers you to one.

02
During your treatment
In general, a session like this follows a simple order: a close look at the scalp, a gentle cleanse, then calming products on the spots that itch or look red, to soften flakes and ease the itch.
At our clinic, Júnior leads your care, and the products he uses for this treatment are soothing ones, picked for itching, redness and irritation and to help your scalp settle. Among our scalp sessions, this is the one for a scalp that is red and flaring. Flakes and oil, dryness and a sensitive scalp each have a treatment of their own.

03
After your treatment
You follow the written plan Júnior gives you at your consultation, with sessions in the clinic and care you do at home. He checks your progress at every visit and changes the plan as your scalp responds, so the sessions in your plan can shift over time.
Scalp therapy sessions can be booked one by one or in packages of 5, 7 or 10, and a package costs less than the same sessions booked singly.

Anti-Inflammatory Scalp Treatment questions
Does this replace my dermatologist for psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis?
No. Scalp therapy is care for your scalp, not medical treatment, so this treatment does not take the place of care from your doctor. You can keep coming in for your scalp sessions alongside the care your doctor gives you.
How do I book an Anti-Inflammatory Scalp Treatment?
Start by booking the Hair Loss Consultation, online at any time, since every plan at JS Hair Therapy begins there. It takes about 60 minutes. If this treatment suits your scalp, Júnior writes it into the plan you take home, and you book your sessions from there.
Who will I see for this treatment?
Júnior Sousa, Hair Loss Practitioner, looks after your scalp from the consultation on. He is a Florida licensed cosmetologist (license CL1311818), a certified Hair Loss Practitioner by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), and completed the U.S. Trichology Institute (USTI) Hair Loss Practitioner program.
