Before your consultation

During your consultation
Júnior Sousa, our Hair Loss Practitioner, starts by asking about your history. At a hair loss consultation, that usually means questions about your health, stress, family history and how you care for your hair.
Then he moves a micro-camera across your scalp, and you watch it magnified on a screen, so you see the same thing he does. He explains what he sees in plain words, one area of your scalp at a time.
Before you leave, he puts it all together in a written treatment plan for your case, with sessions in the clinic and care you do at home.

After your consultation
Your written plan can include scalp therapy, light therapy, and oxygen, high-frequency or light-based scalp sessions in the clinic, along with care you do at home. If you go ahead with it, Júnior checks your progress at every visit and changes the plan as your scalp responds.
Hair Loss Consultation questions
Is a hair loss consultation a medical visit?
No, hair and scalp therapy is not medical treatment. You'll see Júnior Sousa, a Florida licensed cosmetologist (license CL1311818) and certified Hair Loss Practitioner by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), who also completed the U.S. Trichology Institute (USTI) Hair Loss Practitioner program. When something on your scalp needs a doctor, he refers you to one.
Do I have to sign up for treatments at the consultation?
No. You decide on next steps with your written plan in hand, after Júnior has shown you your scalp and explained what he sees. If you choose to start, scalp therapy sessions can be booked one by one or as a package of 5, 7 or 10 sessions.
Can I book my first visit online?
